Squeak with each step

I had ordered the Bone Nubuck. Beautiful shoe , true to size, and comfortable , but I could not deal with the squeaky noise with each step. It was caused by the leather rubbing against the circle hardware on the top of the shoe. I returned the shoes.

comfortable and elegant

I got both the beige and orange. When I wear the orange the phrase, "walking on sunshine" comes to mind because they are great, happy color. A nice combination of fun, elegant, sexy,. Very comfortable, wore for the first time without them "biting" me somewhere on my feet. Go with everything - pants, jeans, skirts. Someone mentioned a "squeak"...there is a slight noise but like when you sit in a wicker chair, the material stretching a bit from some tension but nothing to prevent me from wearing them (and it seems to be getting slighter with each wearing), and I work in a medical office where noisy shoes would be a problem. Maybe if I was a librarian it would be an issue.

Nice looking shoe!

I ordered the orange, and it's a beautiful shoe. This color has a soft leather upper, but the gold circle hardware in the center rubs against the leather and makes the leather squeak with each step. Annoying to me. It was comfortable despite a 3+ inch heel, with some padding in the footbed. I also ordered the denim color, and it was so much wider I couldn't keep it on my foot (but at least the fabric shoe didn't squeak). Both pairs were 8.5. I returned them. I won't recommend these as an online order, but they're worth a try on if you can find them in a store. Nice style.
