Beautiful glad I went with the 8 instead of 7.5

I purchased the cognac color and absolutely love it. It fits perfectly. I am glad I did not get the 7.5. Normally, I can wear a 7.5 or 8. I went with the 8 and I am glad I did.

Poorly made

I gave it one star because the picture looked like a nice boot but when I received it very cheap looking poorly made not worth the money will not last you very long plastic looking.

Comfortable and Beautiful

Beautiful boot and very comfortable. Dress up or down with this boot. It is true to size and the leather is very nice.

Wide shaft

The boot is very stylish and comfortable when I tried them on. Unfortunately the shaft is very large. I can get my fist in the top. I do have skinny legs. I got a size 8 and the top is 16 1/2 “ around. The shaft is also tall and I would not be able to bend my knee. So back they go. I will try a different style

Inaccurate description

I really like the look of these boots, and based on the description I thought they would be perfect. I received them yesterday. When I tried them on the fit was snug, but I was wearing fairly thick socks so that wasn't surprising. However, I thought they must have mistakenly sent me the wide calf version. I have slim calves. The description indicates the circumference of the shaft is 14 1/4". Not so. I measured the insert that is placed inside the boot to hold the shape--it is 15". Although this is definitely not what would be considered a wide calf boot, it is much too wide for my thin legs. Had I known the true shaft circumference, I would never have even considered ordering these boots. I really feel the description is misleading and should be corrected. Otherwise Macy's is looking at wasted shipping costs.

Gorgeous

The boot is gorgeous. The fit /feel on my foot was perfect. However, I'm only 5 ft 1 and the shaft is too high for me. It pinches the back of my knee area. Unfortunately I will be returning due to that. But if I was taller, it would be a keeper.

Perfect boots

I bought these boots on a whim and they are perfect. Bought. My size. A little tight in foot area but manageable with light socks. I love them. Got the brown. A nice brown shade to add to my boot collection.
