solar lantern not lighting

I've loved my solar lantern which was given 2 years ago by a dear friend who has since passed away. It worked perfectly every night until a few weeks ago and now it never lights up. Is there a time frame in which they don't continue to function any more? I've enjoyed mine so much that I've bought several as gifts for friends but am now worried they'll not light up after a while. Can you help me?

Hi Sheila, our solar lantern rechargeable batteries will usually last 2 years but they are replaceable and we do have batteries available on our website. My globes

I bought 1 globes and hung them on my patio, they light up automatically when it gets dark and the pattern of the globes circulate the patio. I love it!!! It's a perfect patio, outdoor ambiance
