It's not "clad"
I thought it was like the Strata. But it's not. It's a nitride carbon steel, with the same hotspot with heat like all carbon steel. I already have something similar, so this is redundant in my kitchen. I returned it. If I didn't already have a carbon steel pan, I would keep it. If you are in need of a high heat searing pan, this is great. Otherwise you might want to look elsewhere.

6 months agoLighter alternative to cast iron
This pan heats up fast and cooks well. I have used it for both meat and veggies and didn’t have any issues with food sticking. It was simple to rinse and clean since no food was stuck on. It’s much lighter than my cast iron, making it easier to move around. However, the pan is pretty shallow so it works better for smaller amounts of food cooked at a time.

6 months agoit’s a nice pan, sturdy but heavy
I like this pan, it seems nice and durable. I’ve been trying to move away from the nonstick teflon pans that are supposedly super bad for us so I was excited to try this pan out. It cooks food evenly and quickly, I’m really happy with it. Only knocking off a star because it’s pretty heavy, and it does seem like it will be hard to keep it looking nice and clean. After only a couple uses you can already see staining and discoloration on the pan. I know it’s a pan and that’s what it’s for so it doesn’t bother me too much.

Amazing product will buy more, already have another on order. Only downside is it didn't come with a lid of some sprt. But other than that it is a wonderful pan and will be in heavy rotation in my kitchen l.

This steel frypan is small yet convenient and durable. It handles with ease and I love that it is nonstick. Easy to clean after use and doesn’t take long to heat up. I would recommend purchasing this pan. 10/10

8 months agoTop quality
As soon as I unboxed this, I knew it was a quality item. This pan is not flimsy- it has weight. It cooks evenly and can be used in the oven up to temps of 700F. It cleans easily with soap and water and is compatible with all utensils, even metal. If you buy one pan, it should be this one.

8 months agoBeats even the fanciest cast irons! Easy cleaning,
I absolutely love this pan! I have stainless steel pans and cast iron pans, so I have a lot to compare it to. I will say that when I look for a pan, I want that seasoning coating overtime and great quality and non-stick. I only cook with cast irons as of lately because they give me that, but they require lots of maintenance. This pan has all the benefits of a cast iron pan and even stainless steel all in one with its Nitrided carbon steel. It's super non-stick, so cleaning takes a fraction of the normal time. I'm so excited for the patina seasoning over time. It's very silky and smooth and just feels high quality. It's not too heavy, the size is perfect, and it feels very durable. I'm very happy with this product and I prefer this over my cast irons. Love, love, love this. Will be making the best tasting meals with this pan.

Not 10 inches. And it looks used.
I received this yesterday and opened it today. The cooking surface is not the shiny one shown on the pictures. There is a rough burnt area in the middle. It looks used. Maybe someone else bought it, didn't like it and returned it. Lot of money for a used pan. Second, the cooking surface is 8 inches in diameter. The top flares out to 10 inches. I'm thinking most people would expect a "10 Inch" frying pan to have a surface measuring 10 inches, not 8 inches.
