Absorbent

I am using these washcloths in the kitchen as a "bar rag" ... after washing the counters, I use them to "clean off" the soap. So far these are far superior to others I have tried. Some in the past just don't absorb the soap and remove it from the countertops. Some are so thick they are just heavy and remain wet. So far these are thinner and lighter weight but ARE absorbent.

Towel that does the job.

First of all, the towels came with big paper and plastic tags that needed to be cut off before they could be used. But that's not a big issue. The bigger issue is the texture of the towels. It's a little coarse (see my photo of it compared with the target ones). Otherwise I do appreciate it's 100% cotton and easy to wash and dry. It's okay for average everyday use but it's no luxury.
