My Second Favorite Bar III Sports Coat

I fell in love with this looker a year ago when it was selling at retail price. The material was thick and smooth. The colors and fit were sexy. However, at the time I wasn’t looking for a super casual plaid sports coat so I couldn’t justify the purchase. A year later and on sale, I went crazy and purchased this coat in various sizes until I found the right one for me (my weight has dropped significantly in two months). At 200lbs and 6ft, turns out the 44R is my true size. Aside from the navy Bar III knit sports coat, I love this coat like no other Bar III and hope I don’t have to go up or down another size — because I will. Ha. Unless you’re really tall, I’d stick with a “R“ because Bar III tends to make coats that are very long (in the sleeves and coat tails) and narrow.
