I bought this in large in black to be worn under the Bedale 40. This jacket seems bigger than a large, which surprised me since it is described as a slim fit. Perhaps it means the fabric isn't bulky. Although this jacket seems wider than the Bedale 40, the jacket fits inside the waxed coat. However, it is several inches longer than the waxed coat. It doesn't have a sportsman look, if that is your style. It is more of a city, dressy look, almost like a Japanese-styled jacket. Regardless, the workmanship is flawless. The feel is silky soft. I highly recommend it. However, it is not for wearing underneath Barbour waxed jackets.

Pay attention to the details.
The description states "Details make a difference... polished with a leather buckle.." There is absolutely no "leather buckle' (or neck strap from what appears on the pictured model). In fact the buckle/neck strap is the exact same material as the jacket shell: polyester. The item is being returned, another of the same was ordered online, if it is received in the same condition it will also be returned. It's the "details" that sets this particular jacket apart from other Barbour jackets. If there are none (i.e. leather accents) might as well be a Barbour Lutz jacket.
