My New Favorite Face Powder

I have been a fan of Bare Minerals for years and have enjoyed using the loose powder. I wanted to try the pressed powder for days when I am on the go and not in the best position to use the "swirl, tap, buff" method. I ordered this to give it a try, and I must say that it is my new favorite. I will definitely be using this especially when traveling as it is more convenient. The overage is buildable, doesn't feel heavy and lasts for hours. I tend to get oily at times and only noticed my skin getting a bit shiny at the end of the day. This was easily remedied with my oil absorbing sheets.

Great texture and color

This is the first time I purchased a Bare Minerals pressed powder and I love it. I chose the same shade I had been using in the loose powder and it’s a perfect match. Goes on smoothly with a sponge applicator. Great for touch up’s on the go or for travel.

Color is way too light

I used the "let us recommend the color for you" app but wow, it was way off. I even went a few shades darker than what it recommended. As I bought on line, the Golden looked much darker but when I received it, it's almost ivory! I can't use it now, maybe over winter but I usually switch to liquid in the winter. I didn't keep the packing and it's not worth the hassle but I'm very disappointed. Buy it in store so you can check the color. It still got three stars as the coverage is sheer which I like and it goes on smoothly.

Disappointed in the size

I am very disappointed that bare minerals decided to use their same case for this new foundation, but then put a plastic ring around the product to reduce the size. Really? I like the product but they have diminished the value with this ridiculous packaging.
