This was an epic ending to a series. I'm in awe of Katherine and Catherine's writing and as a team wow they truly brought a magical world to life. I loved the bond between the twin sisters and how this story has come full circle. Each character had to learn and grow and come together to defeat a shared enemy. Each character played a role and brought this story to life. The world they created is beautiful and I'm very excited there will be spin off stories.

good book that filled in the rest of the series
Eana is finally free from those who are opposed to witch magic. Or so Rose thought, but it looks like When is hiding something and it can't be easily fixed. With the weight of the throne and the unanswered prophecy, how will Eana unite, how will Rose and Wren unite? Once again, this has been a roller coaster ride. It's been awhile since I read a book that would break my heart, and this book just did that. There was a point in the book where I kept repeating I was so mad at it with all the emotions I felt for it. Though this book made me feel, I thought the overall book was just okay. I thought the resolution was something familiar already, I felt like they dug deep just to find the romance exciting, there were parts that I thought were unnecessary. Overall, it was good. I do think both the previous books were better, and this filled the hole that the readers wanted. * I recieved an eARC of this book

Excellent conclusion
Burning Crowns is the epic finale to the Twin Crowns trilogy. Rose and Wren are reunited and ruling the kingdom together at last- in theory. With their chaotic ancestor on the loose, things unfortunately aren’t looking so happily-ever-after. Rose and Wren will need to go on another adventure to free themselves of a dark curse and finally rule the kingdom together. Burning Crowns was a satisfying and delightful conclusion to the trilogy. I love Rose and Shen Lo’s love story! I really enjoyed how their relationship grew. In some ways, they give me Rapunzel/Flynn vibes and I love that. Wren has romantic dilemmas to deal with while she battles the deadly curse that binds her to Alarik. This installment really showcases how far Rose and Wren have come from the beginning and the conclusion was excellent. I love the large cast of characters, especially Anika, Celeste, and Lei Fan. I’m glad there will be more time spent in this world. I can’t wait to see who the spin-off novels are about! Readers who enjoy witty banter, lovable characters, and masterful use of classic fantasy & romance tropes will love this series.

The cherry-on-top of an indomitable series
When we left Rose and Wren, they became rulers of Eana, reigning side by side over the kingdom. But in the eyes of Oonagh, the twins’ evil ancestor, the kingdom is hers—and she will do anything it takes to have it in her grasp. As the twins bask in their fresh start, a new beginning for them and their kingdom and friends, concluding their Royal Tour back home, it’s a peaceful change from the tough times they went through. But Oonagh’s influence batters through their celebrations like a hurricane, a sense of war in the air. The all-consuming and overwhelming dawning plagues Wren. As she reveals her scar to Rose, and her tie to the elusive Alarik, the sisters brainstorm ways they can overcome the spells that bind. It leads them on their final journey, at times separately, of getting the happy-ever-after they wanted—though it does not come easy. Wren goes on an expedition to break the magic that curses her and Alarik, and Rose sets her sights on keeping the throne, defending all she loves, and defeating Oonagh, which furthers her blooming connection with Shen-Lo. Through it all, the twins combat old scars and enemies, an overpowering loss, and a battle-to-the-finish side by side to get the harmonious reconciliation they deserve. Overall, Burning Crowns was entrancing, zestful and compulsively unputdownable. Wren and Rose’s story reigns over my heart, and though it broke and healed several times over this tale, I could not have read a more magical conclusion to their story. The characters I know and love encounter more than a test of their lives, highs and lows, and through it all the connection between the twins remains the fixture that I can always count on to pull at my heartstrings the most. Though the romantic in me knows that Burning Crowns met all my expectations of a ferocious love story, too, for Wren and Tor, and Rose and Shen—making it the cherry-on-top of an indomitable series that I adore wholeheartedly. Five stars and beyond. (And I’m so excited for the spin-off books!!)
