Mattress is good but keeps sliding on the base. More firm than anticipated.

My wife and I bought this beautyrest extra firm lux in July of last year. Over the course of the year both our sides started to sink. I'm 35 and weigh 140 and my wife is the same and weights 125-ish. No way our weight contributed to its defect. There was a 2”+ dip on both our sides while the middle came to a point. It has cause me severe back problems and I am hoping this replacement will last longer than a year.

We were concerned that extra firm might be too hard but this mattress is perfect. We checked out a lot of mattresses before buying and this was the right one for us!

Honestly, we are hoping we love it, but we just brought it home so we will see. Fingers crossed.

I previously had an extra plush pillow top from another brand, and my back was really bothering me. So I ordered a new Harmony Lux Queen Medium Firm Pillowtop (Anchor Island), and I feel the difference already! I just received the bed a day ago! The mattress is solid and impressive, very well manufactured, beautiful colors and soft fabric, and the pillowtop is thickness but doesn’t take away from the firmness of the mattress. VERY comfortable and my body felt supported and aligned! Of course, I need to see how it breaks in and settles with time (also the only reason I am providing four instead of five stars), but I am currently a very satisfied customer and doubt this mattress will disappoint. Worth the investment!

The was the replacement for the Harmony Lux that was determined to be defective.

I seem to be sleeping better and deeper with the new mattress but our cat still wakes me up too early so I am going to get her a cat door.
