Beautiful Shoes but was only sent one shoe!!!

Ordered these shoes online, and was only mailed one shoe. I contacted the Macy’s that sent the shoe and asked for the other one to be sent. Sales Associate stated they could not just mail me a shoe, that I would have to come in and purchase the pair. I explained that I had already purchased the shoes online and that there was only one shoe in the box when it arrived, that the other shoe could possibly be on display and wasn’t put in the box before it was mailed to me, and that I was also located several states away. Sales associate then told me that I could contact customer service to see if they would send me a shoe. I contacted customer service, and the lady did refund me the full amount and stated that the shoes were sold out online. I asked where I needed to mail the one shoe back to and was told I didn’t need to mail it back, that I could keep the shoe. I was able to find a lady that had recently lost a leg in an accident and wore the same size shoe as me, so it was sent to her.

I am upset that I apparently received a pair of sneakers that someone must have returned . The sneakers are dirty and were not package as though they were brand new .
