High Quality Sleeps

My husband and I look forward to getting the quality sleep we need each night we lie down on our Helix mattress. This mattress was worth every penny.

Some improvements, but not sure it's the one yet (3. 5 weeks in)

This is a review 3. 5 weeks into sleeping on the Helix Midnight Luxe with the Ergo Align layer. For context, I woke up with back and lower side pain with my previous mattress (Amerisleep AS3) that we had for about 7 years. Over time this previous mattress started feeling more firm to us, so we added on a foam topper from Tuft and Needle. The first few nights on the Helix created some additional soreness in lower & upper back and neck for both sleepers - this is to be expected adjusting to a new mattress. Now that we are a few weeks in, that initial adjustment period seems to be over. My back pain has decreased from the previous mattress. It's not gone, but there is a marked improvement which I attribute to the Helix mattress. The area we are still both struggling with is we seem to be more restless and sleeping lighter with the new mattress. It has been difficult to achieve a deeper sleep and we both noticed fewer REM cycles. Smaller movements are waking us up that didn't with our previous mattress. This has lead to mornings and days feeling less rested. I'm not sure if this is common as part of the breaking in period. If a member of the Helix team has any advice, we would be happy to try any tips that help us continue feeling more comfortable and rested with our new mattress. Thank you for proactively seeking feedback - we can see how this could be a great mattress for many, we just aren't sure if it is a great mattress for us yet.

Adjustment time

We have had our Helix mattress and foundation for a month. We ordered a medium firm, but we got a soft mattress. The first week was an adjustment time. It was so soft we needed to readjust our sleep positions. Over the last few weeks, we have become more comfortable. I still get over heated during the night, but I feel like I'm sleeping better during the night. My husband has had a few medical issues, but feels like the mattress is working well. He believes he will love it in a few more weeks.

Unexpectedly Great!

I had my doubts about acquiring a roll-up mail order mattress, and kept my fingers crossed as it made its way across the country to me. I must say that having slept on my king-size Midnight Luxe with ErgoAlign Layer and GlacioTex Cooling Cover for about a month I am very impressed! I'm a side sleeper used to sleeping on a firm mattress, but this one envelopes me nicely without it being difficult to move around; there is plenty of comforting support. Also, there is little to no motion transfer as promised! The only downside is unpacking it: the mattress expands quickly and mine unfolded upside down, but we battled it out. Read the unpacking instructions thoroughly.

The Midnight Luxe with cooling

We have had our helix midnight luxe mattress for 1 month and finally have slept better than I have in over a year. I tried other mattress companies - saatva & nectar, which I had to return within a months time due to having increased back pain. I am finally waking up without back pain and with a straight posture as well. So far, so good!

Great mattress

The Helix Midnight Luxe is definitely an upgrade from my previous mattress. My sleep has greatly improved, and any back pain has disappeared. The only thing keeping me from giving it 5-stars is that I don't feel that the cooling top is worth it. I have not noticed sleeping cooler. But, overall a great mattress.
