I’m am overall pleased with the shoe however for me at my age I need more support in the arch and balls of my feet as well as a little more room in the toe box area like the Glycerin Max offers.

The shoe is nice, however, the back of it with the heel cup area is awful. I wear orthotics and have never had problems with my heel sliding out of the back of the shoe but this new model is not good. My heel feel like it will slide out any moment and I have to overtighten the laces to keep my foot in which is uncomfortable.

New heel too short, feels like shoe will slip off.
New heel design makes shoe feel like its slipping off my foot. After many generations of ghosts, I need to find a new go-to shoe.

They get the job done
Sturdy shoe. Ive tried quite a few the past year and Brooks doesn't feel cheap like competitors.

Good for running, I’m sure, just not good for old knees
I’m sure it is an excellent shoe for a runner, which I no longer am. For me, the shoe is far too soft and “squishy”, wrecking my knees when walking in it. I wore Dyads for decades, running and then walking, and found them as nearly perfect as a shoe can get for my needs, but they have been discontinued and it seems that everything has gone to the super-soft foam, not good for old knees.

terrible
I thought to upgrade from brooks ghost 15 to brooks 17, but this is the worst running sneakers for your body. it feels fine while running, but afterwards my hips and Ankles were killing. I was lucky I found another new pair of brooks ghost 15.
