Poor Quality Control on Workmanship

The mugs are heavy and good quality except have poor workmanship and quality control. Several have bumps in the black exterior and one even has a larger ding where the white ceramic under the black is fully showing. The black painted rims are uneven where it meets the coloring inside and many are are uneven/bumpy on the outside rims as well. These should be sold as factory seconds as the quality is not as expected, even at the holiday sale pricing.

False Claim

These mugs are attractive, seem to be well-made and sturdy, and as a plus they are stackable. However, even though the box as well as the online description of the item clearly say the mugs hold 18 ounces, they do not. They hold a maximum of 16 ounces. I don’t know why the manufacturer would make such an easy to verify false claim.
