Too difficult to assemble. Directions unhelpful.

I hope I can actually assemble this chair soon, or I’ll have to return it. The directions are very unclear. The connecting pieces have different sockets and there is no indication of which to use. Assembly is hard on the hands. Nothing lines up, and after more than an hour, I still have no finished product. Not a good experience.
