Not waterproof or volumizing

I had high hopes for this mascara. It was recommended by a friend of mine. I bought it for hot, humid summer in Maryland. Unfortunately, this one was a huge disappointment. The first thing I noticed is that the mascara is not volumizing or lengthening. Just in a couple of hours the mascara was flaking under my eyes. By the end of the day there was more. The second day I took a hot shower with mascara on and most of it was under my eyes when I came out. I was shocked. It withstood the hot shower as good as a regular (not waterproof) mascara from L'Oreal. Except L'Oreal actually extends my eye lashes and costs a fraction of Buxom. My search for a good waterproof mascara continues.

it sucks

this is terrible mascara. It flakes off and isn't water proof at all. doesn't last all day. the brush is difficult to use for application.

Good, not great!

Not as smudge proof as I would like. Tends to clump a bit. I really wanted mascara that lived up the hype and this is not it. It is not bad, but if you are looking for a truly smudge free mascara, I would try something else.
