Review

Positive- cofe grinder is good, the end product is good. Negative - small water container, app does not provide the notification beforehand that water in the tank has to be fill up. The cup size max is only 5.5 mg

We are glad to hear you are enjoying your espresso and so pleased that the grinder is working well for you. If you remove the tray, the tallest cup height will be 7 inches. Leaving the tray in place, it is 5 inches. There is no waiting period between shots. Once the shot is dispensed, the machine is back in standby mode immediately and can do another shot. Keep in mind that you can adjust the brew time via the app so there will be some variation. That being said it is approximately 45 seconds to complete one shot cycle.

Makes a great Latte

So far I really like this machine. It turns out a great espresso with out a complicated procedure. It also looks great on my counter.

Great little automated espresso maker

This espresso machine is great for beginners. You don't have to do much as most of it is automated other than the milk frother. The cleaning part gets a bit much at times as the grinder spills coffee grinds all over the compartment, so I normally do a deep clean every couple of weeks. The only negative for me at least is that by the time I am done with everything, its barely warm so I usually froth the milk twice to get it warm enough and its not fun holding the steel pitcher for that long and I know I am being picky but wish the pitcher handle was a bit rounded so it was easier to hold but I guess I can always buy a replacement one.

Convenient but needs work

Four stars for the convenience and ease of use for a functionally blind elderly mom to be free to have fresh hot espresso whenever she wants it. One star off for design flaws. The overflow bin for the grinds is poorly designed and fails to catch the grinds and it's a mess to keep clean. A pull out tray would be a smarter idea tbh. This needs a re-design. The drain overflow has uncessary nooks and crannies that accumulate coffee oils that are difficult to clean out. Why so many molded crevices? The drain could be so much simpler and easier to clean. The coffee itself is never hot enough so it requires an additional 30-60 seconds in the Microwave. An extra hot setting would be a nice feature to add. Finally, this needs a water reservoir twice its current size.

Perfect in every way except one

I love everything about this espresso machine except one thing. It’s beautiful, makes delicious coffee, easy to use, has good personalization options. But, I’m on my third machine in 2 years. The first one had an issue right after the warranty expired. I liked it so much I got another, but this time I got an extended warranty. Unfortunately, it had an issue throwing dry grinds Into the tray. GE sent me a new machine because I was within my warranty. I hope the third time is the charm!
