CK underwear or swim bottoms??

I ordered these thinking they were underwear. When I wore them, they were almost like wearing a swim bikini all day. I still don’t know if they are made to be an undergarment or a swim bottom?? The quality is really nice, but personally too heavy and thick for an undergarment. I will be returning.
