zipper broke

I bought this dress to wear to my daughter’s baby shower. It fit perfectly - exactly what I wanted. The day of the shower - the zipper broke as I was putting it on to wear for the first time. I was horrified and could not fix it on short notice. I had to wear something else - I was so disappointed. I can’t believe there was a flaw in the zipper.

Runs Large

Dress has full skirt, so unless you're just top heavy, I recommend that you order a size down. Dress does have shoulder pads which gives it an awkward fit at the top which makes it look boxy and squared off. It was lined and nice thick fabric with pretty light blue, just as pictured. I did return the dress because of the fit. It was not flattering on me.
