Chainsaw man is an emotional masterpiece

Chainsaw man part 1 is an (SPOILERS BEWARE SPOILERS) The ending to part 1 is a straight shot down to hell the death of aki Makima’s reveal as a devil controlled by the state and oh god WHAT DID THEY DO TO POWER it’s just a horrible event that happens to denji just because the dog devil he befriended as a child and grew to love is a rip and tear hero of hell that has some bad blood with devils he can’t eat because they are just (In my interpretation) So fundamentally bonded to history and so basic that chainsaw man couldn’t eat to destroy also by this interpretation Makima’s plan to free the world of death famine and war might have failed in the end and Denji’s final attempt to rid the world of Makima was so genius granted what abilities she had so props to fugimoto for writing that one

Highly Recommend

The author has this way of getting you to like piece of crap characters, and getting you into a story that would sound wild out of context.
