Questioning quality

Beautiful print and totally soft material. Luckily I bought it when it was on sale, but duvet cover came defective material (dark gray line running through what appears is the entire cover). Item was not returnable??? but was able to exchange for the same item. Awaiting it's arrival and hoping that this next one is not defective.
