My original to order is bed sheets but for some reason they delivered the bulky package, when I opened it was a comforter! I don’t like any hassle to return so I just use it. It was nice, soft and comfortable so that was it.
Terrible smell
This comforter arrived with a very strong odor. I had to take it to a laundromat and wash it twice in an extra large washer to rid it of the body odor smell. I bought it for my guest room and had guests coming, otherwise I would have returned it. It is a beautiful and soft comfortable now however. Never had that experience with any linens before, was very strange.

Yes there is an odor s described But if you put it in a room next to AC UNIT the smell will disappear. I have purchased my second one last week my old one lasted 10 yrs..Don't pass this comforter by especially for the reduced half price it is a comforter that is warm in the winter and during the summer with A.C. is comfortable
Beautiful comforter!
Bought the sheet set, comforter, shams & duvet cover for my daughter. All in this collection is fantastic. So soft & very classy. Only wish that there was a way to attach the comforter to the duvet cover to keep it from shifting. The duvet cover has ties inside, but the comforter itself has nothing to secure it to the duvet cover. I bought the king size, so it’s hard to constantly “fix” it to keep the comforter from shifting! Other than that, thrilled with my purchase! Have already bought a backup set of sheets! Highly recommend the entire collection!
Beautifully SMELLY!!
I ordered this product 3 times each time it came smelling like BO. The first time I thought it might just be the plastic packaging, but the second and third time confirmed it is a defective item that should be much less because it will cost an additional amount the get dry cleaned to get rid of the order, which macy's will not compensate for.

This is a nice comforter....but it had the worst odor and I had to leave in my garage until I could return it. If you read the reviews for this comforter in Queen and King sizes, you will see several post about this problem. Save yourself some time and AVOID!

I own a similar comforter from a few years ago and liked it enough to repurchase in White. It got here yesterday and it smells absolutely terrible. I agree with the other reviewer who mentioned it smelled like garlic and body odor/sweat. I tried to air it out, but with no luck the smell remained. Because of it's large size it says to wash in a commercial washing machine, which isn't convenient so I'm planning to return. We purchased the white color, size full/queen. I would NOT recommend buying this unless you have access to a larger washing machine to clean this immediately to get rid of the smell. It smelled absolutely terrible.

I have always loved this line of bedding. I've bought the sheets and pillowcases over the years...they're the only ones I'll buy. I purchased the duvet cover a few years ago, and love it also, but after reading the negative reviews for this item, I was hesitant to buy the comforter...but I took a chance and am so glad I did. I washed it when I received it, same as I do with all linens, and it came out of the dryer looking as beautiful as it did before I washed it, and with no rips, no odor. I couldn't be happier...unless they would also make a lightweight summer quilt to match!
