they are soft but HUGE

These pillowcases feel lovely. 800 thread count. They are soft, thick, luxurious. But they are HUGE! I ordered the Standard size and thought they must have accidentally sent me King but no, this says Standard. They are longer than a normal standard pillowcase and also wider. I'm regretfully returning them. Love the fabric but the extra inches at the hem will drive me crazy. Plus, they are 100% cotton and seem like they will need ironing every time.
