Awful scratchy fabric

We have 4 Charter Club down comforters that I have had for over 15 years. All were wonderful. I just purchased this one for a guest room and it is awful. The fabric is scratchy and the fill has no loft at all. I will be returning.

Exactly as I hoped it would be

I love the medium weight 600 count fill. It is lightweight but very warm. I always use a duvet cover and this comforter is quiet (some past ones I purchased and returned had a noisy cotton covering). I trust Charter Club and this lived up to what I have come to expect. It is warmer than my other older one that needed an addition blanket for extra warmth. This doesn’t and last night was very cold.
