Made the Record Books

Well, this coat (and me) have made the record books. I was in Erie, PA for Christmas with ALL of the snow and I was WARM! I also have received several compliments when I've been at church or at school.

Nice coat with a hood

I wanted this coat because it has a hood and my other wool coats don't. I like the style of the coat and the fit works for me.

Fits well but hood is weird

I love hooded coats so I thought this one would be cute. It's got plenty of room in the arms (not always a given, even in plus size coats). You can't tell by the pix but it's not a true wrap coat, there's a full zipper. The bummer is that the hood never lies flat, it just kind of puddles around your neck, usually in an unattractive manner. Well, if you unzip the coat down to the bra line, you can get the hood to flatten, but who's going to wear a coat like that? It's a shame because the cost is otherwise attractive.
