they're chucks

exactly what i expected. once they get broken in they're more comfortable than brand new. no arch support, no cushioning to speak of, but the canvas is way more comfortable in the summer than leather hi-tops, and the vent holes help with heat build up as well. they run half size too big, this is a known thing with chucks so if this is news to you i'm guessing you've never worn a pair before.
