Wrong description?

The description has to be wrong. How can a king quilt be 68" wide when a king bed is 76 inches wide. The king size has the same dimensions as a full/queen. Can't really rate because won't purchase until I know the true dimensions.

Lovely but on the thin side

It’s lovely-exactly as pictured. I have a queen bed and went for a king size quilt which I’m glad I did. Know that it is a thin summer quilt.

Beautiful quilt but wish they sized it to fit

This is a beautiful quilt and sham set. Lightweight but will provide warmth if needed. I ordered a king size set for my king bed. I don’t know why these are made so much smaller than needed. I do not want to have to use dust ruffles or multiple layers to cover mattress and legs of bed. Unfortunately, they just don’t seem to make bedspreads in pretty patterns any longer so you are forced to go the quilt/coverlet route. The length (top to bottom) of bed is fine, but the width is too short. You end up pulling it to one side to make it look okay, but then other side you can hardly cover mattress. Because I liked the colors and design, I used it on queen size guest room bed. Covers bed better, but even in that room bed legs more exposed than I would like. I think manufacturers need to start sizing things for thicker mattresses and box springs or give us better bedspread options.
