I’m about giving up trying to purchase a quilt online. Second quilt I return to Macys. I’m giving it only 3 stars because: 1. While the pattern of this one is fairly cute and the colors are close to the picture (only the green is brighter IRL), this quilt is THIN. I would call it a bedspread, not a solid quilt. 2. I’m also disappointed because the product description lists the material as “cotton” but when I received the product it was listed as shell 100% cotton and fill 50%cotton and 50% polyester, an issue if you want to get a product that is all cotton. Macy’s fault for listing a wrong description. Positive points: if you like the patterns and colors, you want a thin quilt/bedspread, and you don’t mind that the fill has synthetic material in it, go ahead and buy it. I have to add that I very much liked that it didn’t emit any strange odors or chemical fumes when I opened the zippered plastic bag that encases it.

Perfect for these no air conditioning/heating needed days. Soft and light, expect it to be even softer after washing. Great size for my cal king bed.

The color/pattern is true to the picture. It fits very nicely on my king size bed, just would have liked it to be a little bit thicker, but I love it just the same.

After reading the other reviews, I took the plunge. I agree with another reviewer that the colors are a bit more vibrant than shown, though I felt that the blue/gray background on the quilt was pretty accurate. It's a decent weight and well made. The quilt hangs down a bit on all sides of my queen mattress and I have washed and dried it once and didn't notice it shrinking.I switched from a comforter to a quilt and blanket because I found that to be more flexible, depending on the season. Also a comforter usually requires a huge washing machine or a trip to a dry cleaner — having a quilt just makes things easier. Overall very pleased!
