Good product with inner stainless steel pot

I love this product, especially I like the fact that the inner pot is made of stainless steel. I've been using this brand a long time, both in Korea and in the U.S. The multiple function of this pot make it easy for me to cook Korean foods also.

Best Rice Cookers!

I purchased this multi-cooker because I wanted an authentic rice cooker from a reputable brand in South Korea here in the USA. I have owned other rice cookers before and this one by Cuckoo is truly amazing plus extremely well designed. The price is affordable, and it really cooks rice perfectly. The voice / sound interaction is fun, and the several cooking settings are awesome.

Rice on bottom brown

I bought this pressure cooker mainly to cook rice. The rice came out good except for the bottom away brown. For this reason, I did not like the pressure cooker that much.

Great appliance! I have had

Great appliance! I have had this now for a month and have used almost daily since receiving and having quite a lot of fun with it. Although I am not able to comment about its ability to cook rice since I have other cookers for that. Additionally, I don’t want to worry about spices/flavor from previous meals carrying over to the rice. However a good cleaning and using the auto sterilization function does a good job of taking care of this anyway. The non coated pot is easy to use and a little soaking takes care of any stuck on food. It’s nice not to have to worry about babying non stick coating. I was concerned initially about the lack of a removable inner lid but this has not been an issue. Overall this is a really nicely made unit. There is a bit of a learning curve if you’re like me and not used to using a pressure cooker other than canning. Support documentation is adequate but as opposed to similar products there aren’t a lot of recipes out there. You just have to tinker with time/setting for the most part and it gets easier with more experience. Other than the USA website I have found some interesting recipes on cuckoo’s Brunei website, the “utube”, and some other miscellaneous places that have been helpful. The upside has been more interesting and various meals with relatively minimal effort. I really look forward to using this in the summer as I live in the far north without air conditioning. There are a few days every year it can get really hot and it will be nice not to have to deal with the stove/oven.

Excellent!

I like the rice cooked in this rice cooker. I don't like too much stickiness. So, I set up only 3 minutes for pressure time with a 8:7 ratio of rice and water (4 cups of rice and 3.5 cups of water; 6 cups of rice and 5 1/4 cups of water; or simply 8 cups of rice and 7 cups of water). That set up makes perfect rice for me and my family. The stainless steel pot is easy to clean after a few minutes with water in it.

Must be very careful.

I bought this one and got burn last week after it had explored. I had heard the sound that it was ready to open so I did open it. I got second-degree burn + a messy kitchen, even after maintaining all the safety features while cooking in instant pot.
