Good Coffee - Cheap Plastic

The coffee made is good. The plastic lid to fill the water tank is very thin. While the coffee was brewing, the steam caused the lid to warp and the steam was coming out of the open warped crack. The lid does not close tightly anymore.

Well built coffee maker!

This is the second Cuisinart coffee maker DCC-3400 we have purchased. This 12-cup model does not have a carafe but a dispensing tank which only requires pushing a lever to dispense into a cup. Our first model lasted 10 years without any disruption of service. We look forward to the same from our new model. Highly recommend it!

Cuisinart coffee maker

Unfortunately I had to return the coffee maker,water was leaking out under the base. So did not ge5 to use it
