Replaced the old with new

I bought this to replace an older model that died after 25 years. I stuck with this brand because it lives up to the ability to cut and mix without issue and it did not disappoint.

First Cuisinart Food Processor

Excellent product! I’m very happy with my purchase. Easy to operate. It blew me away how fast it slices potatoes and sweet potatoes. This is the only appliance that I keep on my counter now.

Never worked

Motor wouldn’t engage when locked. Could press the switch manually with bowl off but lever in bowl would not extend to activate switch. Returned item.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. It sounds like the unit may not have been fully assembled, as proper engagement requires the bowl and lid to be securely locked in place. If you ever have questions about assembly or operation, our Consumer Service team is happy to assist at 1‑800‑726‑0190.

A definite upgrade!

Bought this to replace an old Cuisinart with a broken food container. This was completely worth the upgrade! It is pricier than the model I had but is much more powerful. I also like the lever buttons better than the push buttons on my old one. This is worth the cost!

Cuisineart is still my #1 choice 38 years later

I bought my first Cuisineart food processor in 1987, and used it for all sorts of food projects for 38 years. In 2025, with the plastic pieces slowly deteriorating, I actually tossed it out—not because it didn’t work, but because I wanted to “force” myself to buy a new machine. Naturally I bought another Cuisineart. Yes, I read reviews and ratings. And reached the exact same conclusion I reached back in 1987: Cuisineart is THE ONLY food processor you will ever want or need.
