Terrible

Terrible kettle- tried to return it- steam scalds hand if lid not in “correct” position. Over all not worth the money even at reduced price.

A reliable trusty kettle which lasts

I had this kettle for years and it worked perfectly in all that time. I recently broke it accidentally (completely my fault and not the kettle's) and replaced it with a Russell Hobbs Eclipse 25111 which was a Which.com best buy. Within just 3 months the base of the Russell Hobbs kettle was leaking loads even when not in use, and I had to get it refunded. Needless to say I'm back here to buy another trusty Cuisinart Traditional Kettle, which never left me without a cup of tea.

Looks good but some drawbacks

Bought to replace an old (9 years old) Lakeland one which went bang. It looks much better than others available now (similar to the old one) but it tends to dribble water between filling and putting on its stand and also after boiling some water sometimes on the stand which is stainless steel and shows the water marks. The reviews mention this but it is not a major issue for me for the sale price.
