    Worth the price

Works as advertised. Can be used as a substitute for a stovetop or simply at a party to keep presentations warm. We have used it both ways when our range died and at parties.

I've never been so happy in the kitchen

Unwilling to ever use a gas stove again, my cooktop is the best thing that I've ever purchased for my kitchen. Easy to use, the cooktop uses ordinary outlets for power, and cooks everything quickly with pots and pans designed for induction. I wish I had a 240 line for a full induction oven, but alas, our building doesn't allow it.

Could be great, but has a serious design flaw!

The unit does a nice job but has a serious design flaw. If you use a larger pan, like a 12 inch pan, it likely will melt the plastic side edge surrounding the glass top. It should be constructed with a metal frame or a different material that won't melt. It's impossible to not melt the edge as the glass top insures that if you use a spatula to turn food items in your pan, it will side against the edge and melt it!

    " TOO LOUD "

It's everything I wanted in an induction cook top except for one thing. The fan, it's noisy.

    Outstanding Induction Cooktop

I wanted to see how effective an induction cooktop was before I take the plunge for an induction stove. I will be getting the stove but this will come in handy when cooking a big meal. Excellent quality and looks like it will very durable.

The jury's still out on this product for me. Says it will work with 18/10 stainless steel, yet the magnet included with the cooktop will not stick to the bottom of these pans so they aren't compatible. Water, in the pans that are compatible, does not boil faster. In fact, water in my soup pot took 30 minutes to boil v 10 on my electric stove. I will continue to try and see what might work better but am so far unimpressed with this product.

    Could be better

I’m a little disappointed that the small burner only goes to 5. The other one goes to 8. Takes awhile to boil water. It works good for other stuff though.

    ...the future of cookin'...

After purchasing the Induction Cooktop.. I learned that Induction cooking is the most efficient way to cook... Kinda like the LED is the most efficient way to provide light ... This cooktop has changed my way of cooking forever... auto turnoff if pan is removed for a certain time... the top is glass... cleanup is so easy...the only limitation is that you need to use a certain type of pans... Bravo! Cuisinart!
