‘feels’ great, but…

Santoku knives are generally good for chopping, they have dimples to help fruits and vegetables slide off easily. With this knife, I was expecting a sharper blade. I used it to cut apples for an apple pie and was not so impressed. I think I went for a cheaper knife and got what I paid for. The quality of the knife ‘feels’ great but I may have to take this to a professional knife sharpener to get satisfaction results. I wouldn’t buy again.
