Pretty but

Ordered two place settings. One arrived without the mug. The other arrived with a chip in both the bowl and dinner plate. Very disappointed in Macy's for even shipping the product out in that condition.

Indestructible and beautiful Dendy Dishwater

Denby Dishware is beautiful and practically indestructible. You can clink the dishes together and it will not chip or scratch. This is my second set - I changed colors and sold the first set which I had for almost 20 years and it was complete and beautiful too. The color is less turquoise than shown and more blue but still just stunning. I like the size of the plates and the depth. The mug and bowl have an artistic curve - really more like art.

Not thrilled

I ordered Denby as I remember a friend owning it many years ago. Hers was beautiful and almost had a handmade look to it. While the price was daunting I thought it might be worth it. The characteristic I like the most about the dinnerware is the colors - they are beautiful, but I wish the plates had a wider edge so there was more color and less white. The bowls are deep with a straight edge, so they hold plenty of food without spilling but the shape makes it difficult to fit them easily into the dishwasher. The pieces are also very heavy, much heavier than any dinnerware I’ve ever handled - I’m not a fan off the heaviness. They are definitely manufactured looking, there is no longer that look that maybe they came off the potter’s wheel, which was very disappointing. I’m not thrilled with the dinnerware, and for the price I should be. Unfortunately there are no Macys nearby so I didn’t get to see them in person before I purchased. Wish I had bought just one place setting so it would be easy to send them back.

Best Dinnerwar

Denby dinnerware is absolutely beautiful and excellent quality. Love the size of the plates, shape and size of the bowls and the coffee mug is perfect shape.

I received this set for my wedding. It is beautiful, well made and so far very durable. I would highly recommend this to anyone!
