Horrible pan! After cleaning the pan I noticed a little rust color cleaned again and looked good. Time to cook.. pan was ok heated up nicely but things started to stick little frustrating but mushrooms and spinach came out good. After washing and drying pan off to bed.. woke up the next morning to a rusted mess!

Great cast iron pan! I used it to make a cookie skillet. Heated up nice and evenly. Feel very heavy duty and ready to tackle any cooking you have in mind. Easy to clean and love that it is already pre seasoned. I can’t wait to use this pan for other recipes!

14 days agoThe piece my collection was missing
This cast iron sauteuse is the perfect addition to my cookware collection: it’s versatile, heavy-duty and beautiful. It’s pre-seasoned and smooth on the inside, allowing food to quickly release. It retains heat well, enabling food to cook evenly. This piece is super robust and sturdy but also easy to handle due to its dual handles. It’s also safe to use in the oven, broiler and grill up to 500°F so I can use it anywhere. Cleanup is a breeze - just make sure to hand-wash and dry immediately. It came with clear and straightforward care instructions as well.

15 days agoSolid Cast Iron Skillet
I’m relatively new to cooking on a cast iron skillet and Smith & Clark 8 inch skillet is very good at cooking different dishes. I love that it is pre-seasoned so it has non stick properties if you know how to use a cast iron skillet. I’ve cooked eggs and the Smith & Clark skillet had no trouble cooking it. The cast iron skillet is very good at retaining heat if want to keep food warm before serving. For the weight of the skillet it is on par with other cast iron skillets but heavier than stainless steel. Overall this is versatile will be used for many dishes in the future.

16 days agoLightweight perfection
A surprisingly lightweight cast iron skillet that’s great for one person meals (or my favorite- dessert). I’ve made skillet cookies and cinnamon buns and both came out great. It is super durable and retains the perfect amount of heat for baking perfection. I can’t wait to go camping with it, a great option since it’s so light!

18 days agoPre heat before using and your food won’t stick!
The 10 inch cast iron pan works really well after pre heating. It is coated so you only need a small amount of oil, but pre heating is key if you don’t want any food to stick. I’ve used it to fry egg and steaks. Clean up is a breeze as you only need hot water and brush to wash the bits of food. The 10 inch pan is the perfect size as it fits our small kitchen cabinet perfectly. One thing to note is that the handle does get hot so be careful and use an oven mitt if you need to hold the handle.

25 days agoCast iron for modern day living.
Wow, what a high-quality pan! I've loved making several meals in this already, as it withstands high heat, is easy to maintain, and makes large meals effortlessly. I was initially skeptical about a "new" type of cast iron, but all of my worries quickly disappeared after my first use! I'm only taking away one star due to it not coming with a cover (luckily, I had a cover from another pan that worked perfectly here).
