True to size but could have been made better

Take a good look at this dress before you decide to keep it. I found that it falls weird on one side of the dress because the underside is attached to the slip by a ribbon. I like that it helps to keep the slip down, though, so I have to keep straightening it out or maybe ultimately cutting the ribbon, which I'd rather not do. Also, the bottom of the zipper in the back hits right at the derriere and points out if you're not conscious of always pulling the dress down from the back. The next thing I noticed was that one sleeve is a bit longer than the other, although more annoying than noticeable. I wish this dress was constructed better. Another thing is that the green is a bit dark, and doesn't show its true color in dim light where it could even be mistaken for navy or black. At least I'd say it's true to size, and it disguises any figure flaws you might have.
