Completely damaged

This vanity was delivered upside down and the box was torn apart. When I opened it, I found the counter is chipped in 4 places and the vanity itself is cracked and splintered on the right side- both corners- going down about 6 inches. I called customer service and explained the issues. There was a language barrier, but I know she understood what I was saying. I was told I would be fully refunded for the price paid plus shipping, and receive an email with directions on how the vanity would be PICKED up to be returned. I repeatedly explained that the vanity weighed 130 lbs and I had no means of taking it anywhere- she just giggled. What I received was an email with directions to drop off the vanity at the UPS store and that my refund was less $128 that I paid for shipping. I won't make large purchases at Macy's again. I won't purchase anything that can't be easily returned to a Macy's store again. Don't call their customer service department if you are looking for a solution.
