Like the old days.

For once, lately, this dress/jacket was exactas hoped. Quality fabric, precise fit and simple, elegant style. If only more EF items met these standards nowadays!

Fabric and Fit

The material is soft, good design. I gave it 4 stars because contrary to EF’s usual styling, it runs a bit small. I’d have returned it but I didn’t try it on for quite awhile after purchase. I’ll wear it next season. It’s not small as to be unwearable. I’d just like a little more room through the middle. Perhaps I’ve fell victim to the COVID weight gain, but I think EF is cutting smaller these days. I prefer the usual cut, but some may appreciate the new sizing.

Warm and Comfortable

Based on other reviews, I sized down on this dress. I should not have, as it was too tight around the hips, but the sleeves were too long. My normal size in a petite would have fit me better. A great fabric for cooler weather, although I found it a bit stiff and slightly itchy. With my dark hair and fair skin, I did not find this style and color flattering on me. It looked like a prison dress. I can see how this would look great on others, though.

Beautiful Wool Shirtdress

I've had this dress for a month and have worn several times. The fabric is a good weight and soft. I've layered with leather pants and works well. Very versatile and stylish. Fit is tts for EF, so I would not recommend sizing down.
