excellent quality and beautiful

excellent quality and absolutely beautiful. Appear to be ceramic without the weight. They are dishwasher safe. I am unsure if microwave safe and I do not want to try due to prior experience with melamine in microwave. I ended up getting 3 sets so I have full 12 piece. The price was excellent as I purchased on sale. Love this dinnerware set! Would highly recommend. Plates are 10.5" & 8.5" & bowls are 8"W-2" deep. The plates have raised edges so food doesn't slide off plates. Stack nicely. With size of bowls I don't need multiple sizes.
