Runs small

The shirt is very cute and the pink is pretty shade. However, the shirt looked small from the beginning, and after washing it shrank so much that my 5-year-old cannot wear it. Even small on my 3-year-old, (Don't put it in the dryer). I have to donate it so maybe a 1-year-old can wear it.
