Nice but......Be sure it works!

I purchased two. I do like one of them, it’s very nice. One was fine, the other registered 193 degrees while the other registered 77.7 degrees. I hope I can return the open package with the defective item. Be sure you open and check yours right away. I bought and returned two of the fluid-filled fridge thermometers that Macy’s is still selling; they differed by almost 5 degrees on reading temperatures. Tried buying these instead. (See pictures.)
