I expected a good product based on manufacturer and price point so I was very satisfied initially. It was a bit later that I actually noticed just how amazingly quiet and powerful it is !!! The noise level is very noticeably quieter than my previous disposer that was made by the same manufacturer. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a disposer that is clearly a cut above the rest.

Extremely quiet you will not know if it is running
This equipment is well make and as per description. The installation is straight forward. I installed it in less than 30 minutes but it is important to read the instructions especially if you need to install or remove the power cord.

Excellent product
This is our 3rd insinkaerator that we have installed in our home and so far it’s the best. It was easy to install It’s tthe most uiet one we have had and it doesn’t vibrate under the sink like the other one we’ve had.

BEWARE OF THESE PRODUCTS - DO NOT BUY
I spent tons of time researching garbage disposals for my kitchen renovation. I finally selected the Evolution Excel XL-4 based on the reviews and functions of the unit. I purchased the unit in Feb 2022 and it failed in March 2024. Overall it was very quiet and did a great job of grinding the food while it lasted. The replacement model sent by insiknerator is different and cheaply made. I will not waste my money on another Insinkerator product. BEWARE

Quiet powerful disposal

amazing power!
Finally, I have a very efficient and very well designed disposal that makes me feel confident that what I am disposing of is really going to be GONE! Hurray! One of the best appliance investments I have ever made! Not cheap in my budget, but at least you get your money's worth! Now I know that when I dispose of something it will be GONE!
