I had been looking for a smart watch. The sales associate was very helpful in helping me make a choice. My Fitbit Ionic is sleek and comfortable to wear. The charge lasts for several days and the functions are easy to use.
Troublesome clip
The clip that holds the strap at the bottom of the strap, kept slipping out , until I lost it. Found a second one in the box but that one was even slipper. I was intending to use glue to seal it, but I lost that one too. REALLY IRRITATING!!!!!
Battery not holding any charge
Purchased this Nov 2018 and this is already gone bad. The battery is not holding charge. showing 0% no matter how long I charge... total waste....
Great watch!
This is such a great watch! Love how easy it is to use, and all of the options and info it gives you. I bought this for my mom, she loved it too but unfortunately was a little too big for her tiny wrist so we had to return it. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who doesn't mind a larger watch face.

Doesn't work as advertised/Fitbit Support is usele
The Ionic is advertised as a fitness tracker with smartwatch features, however this device has failed to provide smartwatch features for the past 6 months. I purchased this watch in Feb 2018, and for a short time it worked great. However after an update from roughly 6 months ago I am no longer able to get push notification from my phone to my watch, which was the entire reason I chose the Ionic. I have tried multiple times with Fitbit customer support and their online troubleshooting guides to get the push notifications to work, but nothing has helped. For those interested, I currently have a Galaxy S7 Edge running Android v. 8.0.0. Fitness tracker features: Steps counter is sensitive and counts my arm movements as “steps” Sleep counter is not horrible and seems fairly accurate Female heath tracker is convenient, but lacking useful tracking options. I submitted a request for Fitbit to build this out and got a vague canned response. Smartwatch features: Useless because they dont work. I recently had to contact Fitbit support because of a security breach with my account, but I am now having to jump through hoops to get it corrected. The email address associated on my account was changed without my consent, and now that Im requesting to have that change reverted I am having to jump through hoops. If the agent who initially made this change actually followed account verification protocols I wouldn’t be having this issue in the first place. Thats assuming that Fitbit has account verification protocols to begin with. This gives the individual who one’s this email address visibility into my account and information and visibility into other Fitbit users I have connected with through Facebook. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. I am so disappointed with this purchase and my experience with Fitbit. This will be my last Fitbit device and will be replaced for a more reliable brand of smartwatch. I do not suggest waisting your time or money on the the Fitbit brand.
DONT BUY Fitbit does not stand behind products
THE FITBIT IONIC IS USELESS. IT IS BASICALLY A GLORIFIED MANUAL WATCH. If you are looking for a sign to buy this watch, this is your sign telling you NOT to buy it. Go for the Apple Watch or Garmin instead. The heart rate monitoring is extremely inaccurate, the battery life is average at best, and Fitbit customer support is NOT HELPFUL. For over 6mo I have repeatedly tried to contact customer support through multiple platforms and all they tell me are that “their engineers are working on the problem.” If this is the case, they have been working on it for over 6mo while selling the public defective watches. If this is not the case, Fitbit has stuck me with a defective watch without offering to fix it or offer a replacement, most likely pushing the problem until it is past my warranty period. Do not waste your money and efforts on this watch.
