THE CHAIN IS NOT ACTUALLY GOLD. It is more like silver with some gold on the inside. It looks gold depending on which light you look at it in. I would say this should be advertised as TWO TONED NOT GOLD PLATED. It is however very shiny and sparkles quite nice. My boyfriend decided to keep the chains.
