Fabulous!

I love these booties! They are comfortable and stylish for a long work day spent standing. Versatile style - I've worn them with jeans and dresses. I love the harness detail that makes them a little edgier than most girls boots! Of course since they're Frye they are high quality leather inside and out.

Almost, But Not Quite, Love These

The "hook" was it was on sale: two for the original price of one, so I bought a black pair and a caramel-colored brown pair. The boot is a good looking boot and is extremely comfortable. Although I plan on keeping them, I do have two reservations regarding recommending them to anyone else. One, when driving, the top of the boot does rub against my leg, which is irritating. And two, in spite of the fact that these boots are very comfortable, almost "sneaker-like", I am not able to walk in them for long periods of time. That could be because I have gotten used to wearing flats, and these have quite a heel height! I'm keeping them though...:-)

Beautifully Crafted!!

I purchased the cognac color in my regular size 11, the fit was comfortable right out of the box. This boot is a true artisan beautifully crafted, the color is a rich brown with a nice burnished toe. The sole and stitching on this boot is incredible! the inside is a soft leather, the antique hardware on the harness is high grade, plenty of room in the toe and heel area. I own several pairs of Frye's and when there is a problem with the fit that is the usual place. However, the boot is heavy and the weight places strain on my shins and ankles. I own the Frye Sabrina double buckle and I have that situation with those, so sadly I returned them right away. The weight is the only reason why I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars. If you can handle the weight I say go for it this boot is beautiful and very well made!
