Switch was worth it.

I was on Apple Watch, which is great in its own right. Garmin gives me more of what I want out of my runs and training

Nice upgrade from my trusty Forerunner 235

I had a Garmin Forerunner 235 for over 6 years. The heart rate monitor was starting to act up. The 235 was such a good watch that I wanted to stay in the Forerunner family. I've had my 570 for almost a month. It has really helped my running motivation.

Great watch...if you can get a discount!

The notable updates from the 265 (which I also owned) are definitely a step-up: V5 HR sensor, speaker/mic, newer/brighter screen, UI, and a few minor hardware improvements (bezel). However, I would NOT pay full price for this watch, wait for a sale or use a coupon if you can find one, otherwise try to find the 265 or 965 on sale.
