Not stainless steel!!!!!

Very disappointing. I ordered these bowls because of the different sizes and that they were stainless steel. Well after washing them, the metal stain is coming off and when I wipe them down, the towel is gray from the color coming off. Clearly not stainless steel!!! Complete garbage

Poorly Designed

I purchased this mixing bowl set because of the x-large 8 qt. bowl. However, I had to return them because they are not flat bottomed. Why would anyone manufacture mixing bowls with anything other than a smooth bottom is beyond me? I did not even try to use them as I could envision not being able to fully mix ingredients together properly because of the moated ring around the bottom of the bowls. Why are the centers raised? Forget about using a hand mixer, it would not be able to get into the moat well enough to be efficient. Unfortunately, it was a failed gift and was returned right after Christmas.

Great bowls for a small price.

For the price the Molly Yeh 5-piece, 1.5 to 8 quart stainless steel mixing bowls and could be a good addition to any kitchen. The bowls are very thin and lightweight and doesn't hold heat or cold so it makes it ideal for melting chocolate. They are less concave and has flatter bottom than most other mixing bowls I've come across which makes less efficient for incorporating your ingredients but offers more stability when mixing things like cookie dough. The variety of bowls from 1.5 to 8 quart is nice though for my purposes a .5 quart and 1 quart bowl might have been more useful. Overall I'm satisfied with my purchase.
