Poor quality and poor service

I purchased six of these chairs. Within five months, two of them had broken from underneath. We are not overweight people. We did not do anything with these chairs other than sit in them each night for dinner. When they broke, I called Macy’s to try to Return or replace them. Because it was more than 30 days, not only did the vendor say they would not honor any return, but even Macy’s did. This is furniture. I am not going to know within 30 days if it is poor quality. Absolutely ridiculous and I will be taking my business elsewhere.
