Not as expected.

This antiquing doesn't even look close to something antique. It looks very dirty like the pieces had dirt rubbed into it. There would have been no way I would have used it for guests. So I'm paying someone to sand the pieces and repaint it.

Fluff. No stronger than cotton candy. But pretty.

You certainly can't judge a book (or bench) by how it looks. This bench kept popping up on my Facebook news feed for weeks. I finally caved in and purchased it because it was pretty and I needed an entryway bench. I still do because I can't put this detective one together. I believe the wood was cut green and the screw holes were drilled without a template. My husband is in woodworking machinery and he couldn't get the screws to go in the holes either. This bench is a waste of my time, energy and money. Buy another elsewhere.

Not as babulous as I was hoping!

The bench serves it purpose but it was a pain to put together. The lifting lid does not fit well and will never be opened. My husband is an engineer and he could not make the lid lift properly.

Ok

Color is not as vibrant as pictured almost looks dirty, more blue. Paint job is not too good, bumpy. Not distressed as shown either. It will do but not worth the price.

Decent quality bench

It’s a decent quality bench. The assembly wasn’t the easiest. Some of the pre drilled holes weren’t drilled. It’s a shallow storage area so it will not hold much. I’m using as an accent piece in a guest bedroom. Seems sturdy enough for someone to sit on to put on shoes.
